GROUP THERAPY AT EMPOWERED COUNSELING CENTER

Empowered Counseling Center offers group psychotherapy sessions that are available to the community. You do no need to be a client at Empowered Counseling in order to take advantage of this resource. ​

Group psychotherapy is extremely effective in supporting individual therapy and increasing personal development. Our groups often combine skills development, psychoeducation, interpersonal effectiveness, and elements of cognitive behavior therapy.

Explore the course and nature of ADHD including skills to navigate, explore meds versus skills, exploring how it shows up in each of us individually and learning how to love ourselves as well as our ADHD self.

ART THERAPY FOR SELF-SOOTHING ACTIVITIES

October 4th - November 8th 

Join us to explore different creative projects to produce joy, self soothe and our own creative spark. Over the course of 6 weeks, you will embark in therapeutic sessions learning to do a variety of fun projects to help reduce anxiety. These sessions aim to encourage your creative spark in an environment of like-minded individuals.

Come join a group of women interested in building their own village in which to address, participating and be supported by others. Be present where you are not alone with your fears of the present as well as the future - where joy can be found and where we can possibly advocate for our future or at the minimum vent with others and not be alone.
